General:

What are your opening hours?

Everyday: 04.30am until 12.00pm except Christmas & New Years day.

The FS Team are available:

Monday - Thursday:              06.00am until 21.00pm 

Fridays:                          06.00am until 20.00pm 

Weekends & Bank Holidays:      08.00am until 17.00pm

What is the minimum age requirement?

The minimum age is 16 years old. If you are younger than 18, we will need written consent for you to use the gym from a parent or legal guardian. Unfortunately, you are unable to use certain equipment or attend our group classes.

Do you have showers? 

We have newly renovated, fully equipped changing rooms with showers, complimentary towels, Cowshed products, hair dryers, straighteners and lockers with keys provided for your convenience. 

Tours, trials, day passes & pay-as-you-go:

Can I have a tour of the club? 

Sure! Feel free to pop in, a member of the team is usually available. Alternatively, please email us and let us know which day(s)and time(s) would be convenient for you and we will book you in.

Do you offer a trial? 

Yes! A member of the FS team is available:

Monday to Friday 06.00am - 10.00am and 17.00pm - 21.00pm
Weekends 09.00am - 17.00pm 

Please register your details and feel free to pop in for a tour or free gym/class trial between these times. A space is usually available for our group classes if you would like to participate however to guarantee a place we would recommend making a reservation in advance.

Alternatively, for tours or gym/class trials outside of these hours, please register your details plus the date and time that you would like to attend and we will arrange for a member of the team to be meet you.

If a member of the team is not available upon arrival, please log in on the iPad at the reception desk. 

I'm only in the area temporarily. Do you offer day passes? 

Yes. Our day passes cost £15 per day or if you buy 4x passes, we'll give you 1x  free so 5x passes for £60. There's no expiry date and these can be purchased upon arrival.

Do you offer pay as you go classes? 

No, unfortunately we are unable to offer pay as you go classes except Reformer Pilates and you are unable to attend our group classes via third party vendors.

Additional services: 

Will I be given an induction?

We would be more than happy to schedule some time with one of our personal trainers for a complimentary initial consultation. During the consultation we can discuss your fitness goals, put together a personal training program specifically for you and demonstrate how to use the equipment and perform any prescribed exercises correctly. This will take approximately 30 minutes depending on your requirements.

Do you offer Personal Training? 

Absolutely, PT is our speciality! If you're new to the gym &/or personal training, our PT introductory package will give you 3x PT sessions for just £129. Please speak to a member of the FS Team.

Memberships:

Not all of our available memberships are listed on the website. Please let us know if you have any questions or specific requirements and we will try our best to accommodate you. 

Can I defer the start date of my membership?
Yes, however this option is not available to online joiners so we will need to set this up manually either in person, by phone or via email.

Do you offer a discount?

We certainly do!

NHS, armed forces, local authorities and students receive a 10% on any of our Self membership options, you just need to show a valid ID or NUS card.

We offer a 20% corporate discount on any of our Self membership options to the majority of locally based businesses and our memberships are also available via GymFlex and My Gym Discounts. Please speak to your HR department to check if we have an agreement in place or contact us directly if you would like to set this up. 

Changes, upgrades, freezing and cancellations:

What happens if I join and its not right for me? 

If you decide to join, you will receive a 14 day 'no quibble' cooling 

off period from the date your membership starts so you will be able to access the facilities and decide if it's the right fit for you. If not, just let us know via email within 14 days and we will cancel your membership and give you a full refund!

Can I change my membership? 

You can upgrade or renew your membership to take advantage of a promotional offer at anytime, just send us an email and we will set this up for you. *In most cases, this will be applied from your next payment due date. 

Can I freeze my membership?

You are able to freeze your membership without charge due to injury/illness or pregnancy however please note that proof will be required. 

In addition, all members are able to freeze their membership up to 3x month per annum for a fee of £10 per month however please note that the 'minimum' period that we are able to freeze your membership is 1x month and any period that your membership remains frozen will be added onto the end of your contract.

How do I cancel my membership?

If your 14 day cooling off period has expired, please email us and we will try our best to help you or refer to the terms and conditions of membership. 

*All changes, freezing and cancellation requests must be made in writing via email.
